This tool runs entirely inside your browser. Your files are never uploaded, never stored, and never seen by anyone but you.
Three ways to give a size
- Exact size — type a width and height, or pick one of the ready-made sizes. Use this when something has to be precisely 1080 × 1080.
- Longest side — cap the larger dimension and let the other follow. This is the right choice for a mixed batch of portrait and landscape photos, because every image keeps its own shape.
- Percentage — scale everything by the same proportion.
What do the fit modes do?
They only matter when an image is not the same shape as the size you asked for. Fill and crop guarantees the exact size by trimming from the centre, which is what social platforms expect. Fit inside keeps every pixel, so some images come out smaller than the box. Stretch forces the exact size and will visibly distort anything shaped differently — it exists for the rare case where you genuinely want it.
Will making an image bigger improve it?
No. Enlarging invents pixels by interpolating between the ones that exist; it cannot recover detail that was never captured. That is why enlarging is off by default, and why images already smaller than your target are listed as being left alone. The list above the button shows exactly what every image will become before you commit.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Resizing runs in a background thread inside your browser, which is why the page stays responsive even on a large batch, and why your images never leave your device.
